Heli ExpoAcousticom Corporation, a recognized leader in the aviation audio communications field and an innovative force in active noise reduction (ANR) and noise cancelling technology, announced today that it will be demonstrating its newest ANR headset in conjunction with its Sound Egg Chair at the upcoming Heli Expo 2011 in Orlando, Florida. The annual helicopter show is produced by the Helicopter Association International and will feature cutting-edge technology from a number of manufacturers and vendors. Acousticom will be in booth: 5708.

Major events scheduled for Heli Expo 2011 include technical briefings from major helicopter manufacturers including Sikorsky, Rolls Royce and Enstrom and informative presentations on helicopter safety by Helicopter Association International members and associates. Acousticom will be unveiling its latest advances in ANR headset technology at the helicopter show and demonstrating their effectiveness using the 5:1 immersive surround sound environment of the Sound Egg chair as a test chamber. The chair’s unique design allows users to experience rich, full surround sound inside while those outside hear little or no noise; this makes it the perfect venue for demonstrations of Acousticom’s exclusive noise reduction technology.
